What I love about Laurie's performances, is that, with just a costume and a few props, she creates a whole scene out of thin air. You start to see what she sees, and you feel what she feels. She takes you on an adventure, and you never have to leave your seat.

The Invisible Mom joined the ladies for a scrapbooking weekend on Cape Cod with Ahni & Zoe director Nancy LaFlamme. Thank you for inviting Stories-on-Stage to be part of the relaxing, artistic girls' weekend.

Thank you, my dear friend Laurie.  God has gifted you with many talents of which expressing your heart for Him and all that He teaches you/us is such a rich blessing.  Your works of heart teach me/us that His Word is alive and well each an every day, and your gift is reflecting that and creating ways to tell His story.  Your "Mom-o-logue" was a huge blessing to me as I am sure for many of the women there...it is amazing how invincible we are through Him and yet often "seen" as invisible by our loved ones. Praising God for you and your amazing artistic talents!

Nancy

I am writing this testimonial to commend Laurie Kincaid for her drama at this year's Life by God's Design Ladies' Conference at Grace Fellowship Church in North Stonington, CT.

Laurie just performed her second year in a row for us. We knew what we were getting into when we rehired her to return, and we were not disappointed. Laurie is truly amazing as she puts so much into her character. The women she acts out are like the women we know and love in our own lives. This year was especially meaningful because she portrayed a woman who comes to know Jesus later in life. We got to watch this character's life unfold right before our eyes. The ladies at the conference were totally absorbed into the drama. At times we laughed and at times we cried. (That's always a good sign of a great time for women, when they have a good cry!)

At the end of her performance, Laurie always makes herself readily available to the women at the conference. They flock to her, and she has a way to make everyone feel so special.

As a co-coordinator of the event, I would also like to add that working with Laurie is such a pleasure. She is reliable, she is kind, she is generous to everyone, she is flexible. She is a real servant leader. I can't say enough about how she has blessed this annual ministry and also my life.

Very sincerely, Julie Koehn

Excerpts from an email I recently received...regarding our script , entitled Life By Design...

"Thank you Laurie for preparing, planning and sharing the gift The L-rd has given to you with all of us on Saturday.
your presentation was one of the most fabulous things that happened that day."

"As a teacher myself, I appreciate a good storyteller and I think most of us do, it's just how we are wired. When a good story is being told, time seems to stop, and we get absorbed with it in so many different ways. We, the women at the conference, got a chance to be absorbed into your character's story throughout the day having the three opportunities to see her life unfold."

"I know all of us could relate to your presentation on some level and it is at that level that G-d has a chance to break in and heal and make us whole. Nothing about your character's story is wasted even if someone does not have a broken marriage or a special needs child.  We will never know the extent to which women make connections that The Holy Spirit uses to bring them closer to Him. "

"...I do know, if this becomes an annual event, women will want to come back just to hear another story from you."

It was a joy to have Laurie Kincaid to our church once again.  This time she shared the “Proverbial Woman” based on Proverbs 31 at our Ladies Spring Luncheon with our two sister churches.   While we had a great time laughing and being entertained, we were reminded that God is still God (even it if snows in Lebanon) or in all of the ups and downs of our life circumstances.  I would highly recommend Laurie as she is always very gracious, accommodating, and of course funny.

"Recently Laurie created a character just for our “Life by Design” event.  Amazing, moving, humorous, wonderful are all words I would describe my recent experience with Laurie’s stories.  Amazing in how she simply creates a character and brings her to life. Moving, in that her characters relate to the times we live in and move us to action. Humorous, to the point of tears, helping us to laugh even at ourselves. Wonderful, Laurie brought so much life, love and authenticity to our team.  I am so thankful that someone recommended Laurie to us. Now we can and will share her with others.  Bringing Laurie and her “Stories” will add great value to any event."
